No News is Necessary

Sorry about the lack of news and comment lately. Got sort of side tracked with my new project. Besides, I find Matlock Bath a little depressing these days... not much sign of any improvement and what 'so-called' improvements there have been lately leave me bemused. As an example I read a piece in the local newsletter praising the new children's playground across the road and saying how it was now attracting children from all areas... yeah and all ages too... and at all times of night... I've seen people on those swings at 5.00am on a regualar basis... so thanks for that security enhancement... we can all sleep safe in our beds!

By the way, did it really take all those months of noise and disruption just to contstruct that!

While I'm here, I'll just mention the new supermarket in Matlock... they had a sign saying something about how these new developments, including the bypass road where 'For your convience'. Yours maybe, but not mine, I now have to travel a further mile when I'm going to Chesterfield and I still have to queue for Matlock itself? Cute!

Regards and thanks for looking.
